James Sanok, founder of Sanok Design Group, is a registered Landscape Architect in the States of New York and Connecticut and is recognized by the American Society of Landscape Architects. He established the firm in 1998 to provide professional services in landscape architecture for athletic facilities, residential and commercial properties.
Sanok Design Group is an independent Landscape Architectural Firm serving Westchester, Putnam and Orange Counties New York, as well as Western Connecticut. Our firm has been providing beautiful designs and quality planning services to public and private clients since 1998.
He is the principal-in-charge of master planning, design development, construction drawing and specifications, and construction administration for the firm. He develops the initial design concepts for all projects and maintains and oversight on each, from initial site analysis through program, design development and construction documents, to assure that the intent of each design is realized.
Mr. Sanok’s design accomplishments have included small landscape design projects to large-scale site development and land planning projects.
Prior to starting his own firm, Mr. Sanok was a licensed Landscape Architect with Peter Gisolfi Associates in Hastings-on-Hudson, New York where he was responsible for overseeing the landscape architectural department, reviewing and red lining drawings for correction and providing designs and the implementation of the designs.
Mr. Sanok was a Landscape Architect with Daniel S. Natchez and Associates, waterfront design specialist located in Mamaroneck, New York where his responsibilities included marina and waterfront design projects such as Milford Head of Harbor in Milford Connecticut.
Mr. Sanok received a Bachelor in Landscape Architect from the College of Environmental Science and Forestry at Syracuse University in 1994. In 1991 he received an Associates degree in Architecture from Onondaga Community College in Syracuse New York.
